GRAHAM - Mr. William Albert "Al" McCauley, 47, of 305 Holt Ave., died at the Hospice Home on Saturday, April 20, 2013, at 7:55 p.m.
A native of Alamance County, he was the husband of Tabatha Marie J. McCauley, who survives, and the son of the late William Carlton "Carl" McCauley and Letty Herbert McCauley, who survives. He was a lab technician at LabCorp. He was a pack leader with the Boy Scouts and enjoyed camping. Al loved gardening, landscaping and the outdoors.
In addition to his wife, of the home, and mother, of Graham, survivors include a daughter, Tiffany McCauley of the home; two sons, William Matthew McCauley and William Alexander McCauley, both of the home; mother-in-law, Nora R. Jackson of Graham; uncle, Dr. William P. Herbert and wife, Marsha, of Charlottesville, VA; and two aunts, Doris McCauley of Elon and Frances Smith of Burlington.
A Celebration of Life will be conducted at Lake Mackintosh Club House on Friday, May 3, 2013, at 4:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service to follow at 5:00 p.m. by the Rev. Kevin Baker.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cub Scout Pack 9, c/o Carolina Bank, 3214 South Church St., Burlington, NC 27215; to Blessed Sacrament Catholic School, 515 Hillcrest Ave., Burlington, NC 27215; or to William Albert McCauley Children's Education Fund, c/o BB&T, P.O.
