BURLINGTON - Mr. Aaron Kenneth Jackson, 83, of 926 Grace Ave., passed away at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro on Sunday, Jan. 19, following a sudden illness.

A native of Hillsborough, N.C., he was the husband of Martha Perkins Jackson, who survives, and son of the late Neal Edward Jackson and Ada Bessie Lewis Jackson.
Mr. Jackson retired from the U.S. Air Force as a Senior Master Sergeant, serving in Korea and Vietnam. He then worked for the U.S. Civil Service. He was a graduate of the University of Southern California with an Engineering Degree. He was a member of Piedmont Presbyterian Church, as well as a Mason and Shriner.
Aaron was a loving husband, father, and steward of his family and a shining beacon of God's love. Jesus shown through him to everyone with whom he came in contact.
Surviving, other than his wife of the home, are a daughter, Madonna "Donnie" Evonne Jackson Williams and husband Bill of Pensacola, Fla.; several cousins, nieces and nephews; and his buddy, his dog, Dukie.
Aaron was preceded in death by a sister, Mabel Christine Jackson Manel; and a brother, Joseph Jackson.
Services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 22, in the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Burlington, with the Rev. Howard Thompson officiating.
