Mrs. Opal Branson Graves

SNOW CAMP - Mrs. Opal Branson Graves, 99, of 6057 Friendship–Rock Creek Road, died Thursday, June 4, 2015, at her residence.
A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of the late Mannie Lemuel Graves and the daughter of Chester Dorlan Branson and Lou Addie Clapp Branson, both deceased. She was a retired textile worker and was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for nearly 70 years.
Survivors include three daughters, Mary Lou Coble and husband Jim of Goshen, Ind., Nancy Graves and Lora Ann Jones and husband Buren, all of Snow Camp; nine grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her siblings, Mae Johnson, Herman Branson, Myrrl Hornaday, Ruth Johnson, Dorothy Murray and Ned Branson.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 6, 2015, at Mt Zion Baptist Church with the Rev. Andy Clapp officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends Friday, June 5, 2015, from 6 until 8 p.m. at the Rich and Thompson Funeral and Cremation Service in Burlington and at other times at the residence.
