Committal service will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery under the guidance of White Oaks Funeral Home, Oakdale. David, 40, of Glenmora entered eternal rest on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 in the Grace Home of Alexandria. He was born November 8, 1974 in Terra Haute, Indiana to Lydia Atterson. He worked in the oilfield and a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his mother; one brother; and his wife, Misty White Cole. Those left behind to cherish his memory are: his ex-wife, Melissa Thompson of Glenmora; two sons, Austin Cole of Glenmora and Eric Atterson of Florida; two daughters, Brooke Cole of Glenmora and Torie Lynn LeJeune of Oakdale; three brothers; one sister; stepdaughter, Sadie White of Oakdale; niece, Shawna Marie Myers; and a host of family and friends. Visitation will begin Wednesday, May 27, 2015 from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m., then on Thursday, May 28, 2015 from 9 a.m. until service time in the chapel.

Lynn Brock Conn Services for Mrs. Lynn Brock Conn will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 27, 2015 in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers, Pineville with Reverend Darryl Hoychick officiating. Burial will be in Philadelphia Cemetery, Libuse. Visitation will be observed Tuesday at Hixson Brothers, Pineville from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and will continue on Wednesday, from 8:00 a.m. until time of service. Mrs. Conn, 74, of Pineville passed away Monday, May 25, 2015 at her residence. She was an active member at Trinity Baptist Church, where she taught the Naomi Class. She was also active in the Gunter Branch Library Book Club. Mrs. Conn was a graduate of Louisiana College where she graduated Suma Cum Laude. During her working career she was a Nursing Home Administrator. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hal Conn; parents, Clarence Brock and Estelle Rains Brock Thibodeaux. Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Tracey Lynette Conn Ostrander and husband, Steve, Jill Suzette Conn Lewing and husband, Shane, Stacey Yvette Conn Hardy and husband, David; sisters, Christy Funk and Carmon Bordelon; grandchildren, Misty Ostrander Van Huis and husband, Chad, Adrienne Ostrander Rodriguez and husband, Gus, Haylan Stephen Ostrander, Tiffini Lynn Hickey Jones and husband, Chance, Toni Lane Hickey, Taylor Lewing, Victoria Lynn Hardy, Delton Conn Hardy and Colton Brock Hardy; four great grandchildren; and her best friend, Dorothy Brown. Pallbearers will be Larry McCaskill, Ted Barbe, Terry Bonnette, Steve Hill, Jason Bordelon and Tony Brown. Honorary pallbearers will be Haylan Stephen Ostrander, Delton Conn Hardy, Colton Brock Hardy and Dalton Henagan. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, May 27, 2015, from 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Rita Cormier, age 89, of Alexandria, passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2015 at CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital. She was born on October 4, 1925 in Church Point, LA. Rita is preceded in death by her husband, Oday Lavergne, Sr. of Rayne and her parents, Luke and Dora LeJeune Cormier, of Church Point, LA; and two sisters, Modeste Joubert and Elizabeth Hauce; and brother, Albert Cormier. Rita will be missed by her family and friends. Joan Thorpe Cazes A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, May 25, 2015, in St. Francis Xavier Cathedral, with Rev. James Ferguson officiating. Interment will be held at a later date under the direction of John Kramer & Son Funeral Home. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday, from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. Joan Cazes, 88 of Alexandria, passed away on Friday, May 22, 2015, at CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald J. Cazes; and her parents, Henry and Susan Thorpe. Joan was one of the last surviving "British War Brides" who came to America after WWII. She was a lifelong parishioner of St. Francis Xavier Cathedral. Joan kept busy with several organizations, including serving as a past member of the CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital Ladies Auxiliary; a past member, president, and vice president of the St. Francis Xavier Cathedral Altar Society; a past member of the Catholic Daughters; and a past vice chairman of the British Wives Club. Joan also volunteered her time at the Manna House and the Geological Library. She served as librarian for the Maryhill Seminary. She was instrumental in the historical research and archiving of St. Francis Xavier Cathedral. Joan was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to many; she will be dearly missed. She is survived by her five children, Michael Cazes of Pineville, Mark Cazes and his wife Nancy of Alexandria, Geoffrey Cazes and his wife Josephine of Bossier City, Susan Daigrepont and her husband Russell of Alexandria, and Denise Goetz and her husband Ed of Bossier City; seven grandchildren, Melanie Cazes Hunley, Jill Cazes Hill, Todd Besson, David Cazes, G.B. Cazes, Bridget Daigrepont Fadaol, and Katie Cazes; and six great grandchildren, Zachary, Nicholas, Allison, Jack, Caroline, and Clara. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to the St. Francis Xavier Cathedral Restoration Fund @ 626 Fourth Street, Alexandria, LA 71301.
