Reverend Clarence "Will" Willingham

Funeral services for Reverend Clarence "Will" Willingham will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, February 14, 2014 in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers, Pineville with Brothers Troy Patrick and Thomas Rogers officiating. Burial will be in Lone Pine Cemetery, Bentley.

The family requests that visitation be observed at Hixson Brothers, Pineville Thursday February 13, 2014 from 5:00-9:00 p.m. and continued Friday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service.

Reverend Clarence Willingham, 89, of Bentley, passed from this life on Monday, February 10, 2014 at his residence.

Reverend Clarence Willingham worked with Arkansas Oak Flooring in Alexandria and retired from Truck Line Gas, Pollock in 1983. His co-workers knew him as Will or C.C. He was a licensed minister with Assemblies of God for 45 years and pastored Bentley Assembly of God for 10 years and overseen Lone Pine Cemetery. His love for the Lord and his love for the work of the Lord was unending; the Lord was first in his life. He raised his children with the belief that the Lord was first. His hobbies were fishing, hunting, gardening and tending cattle.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George Morgan and Alfa Beavers Willingham; son and daughter-in-law, John Auburn Willingham and Marlene Wallace; brothers, George A. Willingham and Walter Willingham; sisters, Lucille Watson, Helen Garbrecht, Evelyn Pippins and Nellie Marie Malone.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 67 years, Lila Gayle Murrell Willingham; daughters, Bonnie Jane Willingham Rogers and husband, Tom, Ruth Despino and husband, Robert and Frances Marie Bringol and husband, Jay; grandchildren, Kristen, Crystal, Misty, Derek and John III; great grandchildren, Lacy, Laken, Ethan, Bella, Katelyn and Landon.

Pallbearers honored to serve will be family members and co-workers.

Honorary pallbearer will be J.R. Gass.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to St. Joseph Hospice, Dr. Bruce Barton and staff.
