Donald Sietman Obituary

Donald Ladd Sietman, Jr.

Services celebrating the life of Donald Ladd Sietman Jr. will be on 2 p.m. Monday December 17, 2012 in Crowell Chapel of First United Methodist Church of Alexandria, with Rev. Barry Hoekstra officiating. A private interment will be in Greenwood Memorial Park at a later date. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to service.

Ladd Sietman, age 66 of Alexandria passed away Sunday December 9, 2012 at The Summit nursing home facility.

Ladd was a U.S. Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam Era and he was a carrier for the U.S Postal Service for eight years.

Ladd is survived by his wife Sandra Collier Sietman of 47 years of Alexandria; one sister Charlotte Sietman Beverly and her husband Jeffery and their children, George and Bryan all of Norfolk, VA; one sister- in- law Marilyn Collier Rabalais and husband Aubrey and their children Randall and Gary all of Alexandria; one brother in law J.L. Collier and wife Amy of San Antonio, TX.

Memorials are preferred to be made to Huntington's disease Society of America at 505 Eighth Ave Suite 902, New York, NY 10018 (HDSA.org) in honor of Donald Ladd Sietman Jr.

I knew Ladd, and Sandy from Old South East Saint Petersburg. They were a wonderful couple , patrons of the arts , and Generous, friends to all . We had many a fantastic evening , enjoying Music , and Friendship, in Saint Petersburg, and Myaka.
