Funeral services for Mr. Dustin A. Bordelon will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 27, 2013 in the Chapel of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville, Louisiana with Reverend Joy Retnazihamoni officiating. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Pineville , Louisiana, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville, Louisiana.
Mr. Bordelon, age 24, of Alexandria, entered eternal rest on Sunday, November 24, 2013 at his residence in Alexandria, Louisiana.
He was a parishioner of St. Francis & Anne Catholic Church. He was a Fireman
with Rapides Parish Fire District 2. Dustin was a person who was full of life. He was selfless and loved being with his friends, playing with his dogs, playing video games and the outdoors. He was always smiling. His loss of life will truly be felt by the community.
He is survived by the love of his life, Katie Buzzetta of Alexandria; mother and step-father, Melissa and Manny Becker of Pineville; father and step-mother, Mike and Linda Bordelon of Alexandria; maternal grandmother, Hilda VanDevelde of Alexandria; paternal grandmother, Betty Bordelon of Marksville; step-grandparents, Leroy Becker of New Mexico and Mary Verheyden of Pineville, Gerald and Margie Sparks of Provencal; five brothers, Shawn Bordelon of Alexandria, Travis Becker of Pineville, Patrick Becker (Laken) of Denham Springs, Chase Becker of Pineville and Lcp. Aaron Becker of Washington, D.C.; three sisters, Lauren Bordelon of Pineville, Amber Howell of Natchitoches and Alicia Angelle (Caleb) of Breaux Bridge; nephews, Gavin Becker and Jaxon Angelle; also survived by many uncles, aunts and his brotherhood at Fire District 2.
Pallbearers will be members of Fire District 2.
Friends may call at Rush Funeral Home, Pineville, on Tuesday, November 26, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and on Wednesday, November 27, 2013 from 8:00 a.m. until time of service.
