Eno "Don" Caillouet

Memorial services celebrating the life of Eno "Don" Caillouet will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 2, 2013, at the Chapel of Hixson Brothers, Alexandria with Father Chris Nayak, officiating. Burial will follow at Butler Cemetery, Woodworth.

The family asks that visitation be observed at the funeral home Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.

Mr. Caillouet, 81 of Lecompte, passed from this life on Saturday, April 27, 2013 at Naomi Heights Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

He proudly served our country in the United States Air Force from 1948 to 1954 and then went on to work for the United States Postal Service in Alexandria, then becoming Postmaster in 1983 in the Marksville Branch retiring in 1985.

He was a post member of the VFW, was on the Board of Directors of the Postal Credit Union and was Post President of the Road Runners Camping Club.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Eno B. and Mabel Glaus Caillouet; son, Michael Caillouet: brother, Dudley Caillouet.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 29 years, Beth Drewett Caillouet; sons, Gary Caillouet and wife, Sue, Bryan Caillouet and wife, Karen, Mark Spence and Fiance', Theresa Tassin; daughters, Kathy Townley and husband ,George, Karen Caillouet and Angela Spence and partner, Kathlene Dauzat; thirteen grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
