Funeral services for Mr. Gary Floyd will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 18, 2013 with visitation beginning at 9:00 a.m. at the Pentecostals of Mislou in Ferriday with the Reverend Samuel Russell officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Natchez, Mississippi. Visitation also will be Saturday from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 a.m. Sunday at LaCamp United Pentecostal Church, LaCamp, Louisiana.

Mr. Floyd, 62, of Leander, died Friday, November 15, 2013 unexpectedly from an accident.

He pastored at United Pentecostal Church for 15 years. He was an evangelist in the United Pentecostal Church for many years. He was a man of compassion, great love for family and church. He will be greatly missed by all.

He is preceded in death by his first wife, Reatha Floyd; and parents, John Floyd and Hazel Mecalf Floyd.

Survivors include his wife, Ruby Boswell Floyd; sons, Jaime Floyd and Gary Floyd, Jr.; brothers, John Floyd and Travis Floyd; three grandchildren; and a host of friends.
