Funeral services for Mammie Lee Crysel Dixon will be held at 10 am, Monday, October 1, 2012 in the Sieper Community Church of Boyce with the Reverend Danny George and Reverend Mike Rhame officiating. Committal services will follow in the Calvary Cemetery under the guidance of White Oaks Funeral Home, Alexandria.

Mammie, 71, of Boyce, entered eternal rest on Friday, September 28, 2012 in her residence. She was born on March 25, 1941 in Boyce to the union of Lummie and Hattie McDowell Crysel. She was a loving homemaker. She worked twenty-five years at the Kincaid Boat Landing, where she enjoyed many summers visiting with the patrons. Mammie loved being outside and spending time with her family, especially watching her grandchildren grow up. She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, and friend. Special to her heart were her two dogs, "Toot" and "Spot".

She is preceded in death by husband of 51 years, Jake Dixon; parents, Lummie and Hattie Crysel; sister, Berniadean Friedrichs.

She leaves behind her loving family to cherish her memory, one son, Billy Dixon and wife, Sheila of Boyce; four daughters, Judy Brister of Boyce, Pamela Bailey and husband, Mike of Boyce, Martina Anders of Woodworth, and Kim Brister and husband, James of Sieper; three sisters, Mildred Rougeau, Robena Reed, and Lois Ivey; nine grand children, Jodie Martin, Christy Martin, Alicia Dixon, Jacup Dixon, Madison Anders, Dustin Anders, Lauren Brister, Kristen Brister, and Cason Brister; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Pallbearers to serve will be James Brister, Jacup Dixon, Mike Bailey, Chris Stanley, Keith Brister, and Dusty Anders. Honorary Pallbearers will be Dustin Anders and Cason Brister.

Friends may call today from 5:00 until time of service in the Sieper Community Church on Monday.
