Mary Louise Taylor Harrison "Madea"

Services for Mary Taylor Harrison will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 20, 2013, at Trinity United Baptist Church, Colfax, Louisiana with Reverends Huey Tademy and Albert Sykes Jr. officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at the church. Interment will be at Cruickshank Cemetery, Colfax, under the direction of Robinson Family Mortuary, Pineville.

Mary Louise Harrison, 84, passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at Riverside Hospital, Alexandria. She retired from Pinecrest Developmental Center in Pineville. She enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing and dressing. She loved God, family and her church. Mary served as secretary of Home Mission Department and Sunday School. She enjoyed singing in the church choir and the Senior Citizen Choir.

She was preceded in death by her husband John E. Harrison, her parents; Mentie Oliver Taylor Flagg and Herman Taylor, her brothers, Altie Taylor Sr. and Irving Taylor, and her granddaughter, Renae Green.

Those left to cherish fond memories, her son Edward Ray Harrison, Sr. and her daughter Janet E. Johnson, son-in-law, Joseph Johnson; daughter-in-law, Jacqueline Harrison. She leaves eighteen grandchildren, fifty three great grandchildren and ten great-great grandchildren.
