Memorial Services for Menard Anthony Brouillette will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 24, 2013 in the chapel of John Kramer & Son with Rev. Joe Hasiber officiating. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. Tuesday until time-of-service at John Kramer & Son.

Menard Anthony Brouillette, age 87, of Alexandria, passed away Sunday, September 22, 2013 at his residence.

Mr. Brouillette is preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Gremillion Brouillette and daughter, Gwendolyn Ishee.

Menard was a World War II Veteran having served in the United States Marine Corps. He was the recipient of two Purple Hearts; one while serving in Iwo Jima, and the other while serving in the Korean Conflict. He later went on to establish a career with the Federal Department of Agriculture as a Supervisor. Menard was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his son, John D. Brouillette and his wife Kathryn of Houston, Texas; daughters, Pam Gorden and her husband Marvin, and Mary Elizabeth Brouillette, both of Pineville; five grandchildren, five great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, and special friends, Nat Dufour, Carla Billiot, and Maria Dufour.
