Services for Mrs. Mildred Faye Tucker Jones will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 22, 2014 at Philadelphia Baptist Church with Reverend Wayne Jenkins, Dr. Wally Goodman, Dr. Philip Robertson and Reverend Ray Jones officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, under the direction of Hixson Brothers, Pineville.

The family requests that visitation be observed Friday at Hixson Brothers, Pineville from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and will continue on Saturday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.

Mrs. Mildred Faye Tucker Jones, 93, of Pineville, passed from this life Tuesday, February 18, 2014.

She was a member of Philadelphia Baptist Church. During her working career she was a pre-school teacher, directing the kindergarten at Emmanuel Baptist Church, Alexandria for many years.

She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond D. Jones; parents, Aaron and Verna Davis Tucker.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Ray Jones and wife, Andrea; daughters, Martha Jenkins and husband, Wayne, and Caren Goodman and husband, Wally; eleven grandchildren and twenty-one great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Brent Goodman, David Jones, Jonathan Jones, Benjamin Jones, Christopher Jones and Zachary Fleming. Honorary pallbearers will be David Montoya, Tucker Van Dyke, Chris VanDyke, Sons Pathoumthong, David Denton and Kent Fleming.
