"Who can find a virtuous woman for her price is far above rubies. The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil. She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life." Proverbs 31:10-12

Reba Marie Jones Tolbert age 85 passed from this earthy home to her heavenly home on January 11, 2013. She was born on October 22, 1927. She was a very virtuous lady. She was a daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a homemaker. She was one of the early founders of the Sandy Lake Pentecost Church under the pastoral direction of Rev. Earnest Hooter.

For many years she served as the church secretary. She worked in the church as the Jr. Sunday School teacher for over 40 years. She wrote and directed Christmas and Easter dramas. She was a ladies auxiliary leader. She also worked in foreign missions in the Sandy Lake Pentecostal Church. She was the ladies prayer meeting leader under the direction of Rev. Russell Hathcock.

She was a prayerful woman which people in the Sandy Lake area depended upon for guidance and direction. Her home had an open door for the youth in the area. They knew that they could always come in for cherry cokes, popcorn balls, and a listening ear.

She was the best mother-in-law a girl could ask for. Always treated Linda as her own daughter, and she treated her with love, kindness, and respect. She was a treasure as a grandmother. Always baking and cooking up things in the kitchen, M &M cookies, egg bread, cinnamon toast, biscuits, rolls, dumplings, wedding cakes, birthday cakes, numerous pots of coffee and trying new recipes out on her family to their delight. She was always sewing the grandkids something new to wear, and working on blankets for the newest members of the church.
