Tamera Sue Bryan
Funeral services celebrating the life of Tamera Sue Bryan will be held at 1 pm Tuesday November 5, 2013 in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Pineville with Reverends Sammy Morrow and Dennis Snoddy officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Esler Field.
The family ask friends to call Monday November 4th at Hixson Brothers, Pineville from 5pm - 9pm and again on Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. until service time.
Pallbearers honored to serve will be Seth Thomas, Gary McKithern, Jim Dewees, Jim Zangla, Matt Nelson, and Dexter Phillips. Honorary pallbearers will be Terry Perow and Terry Roberts.
Tamera entered her eternal rest with her Father. Friday November 1, 2013 at 6:50 pm at Rapides Regional Medical Center after a short unexpected illness. Tamera was born Oct 4th, 1954. She was a member of Kingsville Baptist Church in Pineville, LA. She was a retired school teacher
from Rapides Parish School System. She taught school also in Grant Parish and LaSalle Parish. She was always loved by her students wherever she taught because of love and concern for them.
Tamera loved to read, facebook with her friends, and watch sports with her husband. She had the most infectious laugh that anyone has ever heard. She was loved by everyone that knew her and everyone that knew her was touched in a positive way. She had a dear love for her daughters and did everything a Mother could to raise them in a godly manner. She had a deep love for her puppy dog "Bark" and her cat "Marcie". She loved to go camping with her husband, sister-in-law and brother-in-law. She was a loving wife for 21 years to her husband Marty. She will be dearly missed by all of her friends and family, but she will always be in our hearts.
She was preceeded in death by her parents and sister, Barbara Buckelew.
She is survived by her husband Marty Bryan of Pineville; two daughters, Courtney Carnahan Thomas and husband Seth Thomas of Texarkana,, Texas, and Lacey Bryan of Wichita, Kansas, sisters-in-law Kathy Bryan Adams of Baton Rouge, and Vonette McKithern and husband Gary McKithern of Tioga, and a host of nieces, great nieces and a nephew.
