Funeral services for Theldon William Warren will be held at 10 am, Thursday, 2012 in the Wilda Baptist Church of Boyce with the Brother Joey Rudisill and Bro. Lyndon Marcotte officiating. Committal services will follow in the Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery of Gardner under the guidance of White Oaks Funeral Home, Alexandria.

Mr. Warren, 74, of Boyce, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, November 27, 2012 in the Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital of Alexandria. He was born on January 20, 1938 in Otis to the union of Martin Van and Omie Pickering Warren. He was a member of Wilda Baptist Church. He was a self-employed timber contractor. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, and friend.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Martin Van and Omie Warren; three brothers, Clarence Warren, Bobby Warren, and Lonnie Warren; and one sister, Dorothy Coutee.

He leaves behind his loving family to cherish his memory, his wife of fifty-one years, Melba Ray Lucas Warren; one son, Gary Lynn Warren and wife, Jennifer of Alexandria; three daughters, Tammie Bass and husband, Lee of Calcasieu, Melissa Walters and husband, Andy of Elmer, and Charlotte Carroll and husband, David of Hineston; one sister, Hazel Scarbrock of Otis; one brother, Dearl Warren of Alexandria; six grandchildren, L. J. Bass, Magen Warren, Cody Warren, Melaine Walters, Victoria Carroll, and Ashlyn Warren; two great grandchildren, Bailey Bass and Riley Bass; and a host of family and friends.

Pallbearers to serve will be Jerry Warren, Lonnie McCormick, Nelon Meylian, James Gillespie, Brian Bonnette, and Edward Stokes. Honorary pallbearers to serve will be L. J. Bass, Cody Warren, Kenneth Taylor, Durwood Warren, Corey Gillespie, Delton Edwards, and Christopher Edwards.

Friends may call today from 8 am until time of service in the church.
