William Ware Obituary
Services for William "Bill" Eaton Ware will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, April 28, 2013, at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Godin officiating. Interment will follow in Hill Crest Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors from 6-7 p.m. on Saturday, April 27, 2013 at the funeral home.
Bill was born on February 15, 1930 in Alexandria, Louisiana to Mary Louella and Edwin O. Ware and passed away peacefully on Wednesday April 24, 2013 in Alexandria, Louisiana. He graduated from Bolton High School In 1947. After High School he attended Louisiana College in Pineville, Louisiana and Louisiana Tech in Ruston, Louisiana. Bill joined the United States Air Force in 1950 serving eight years flying C- 54's during the Korean War. He was also in the Pacific Proving area during the Bikini Island Nuclear Testing. After spending eight years serving his country he went to work and retired from General Motors and has lived in Haughton, LA for thirty years. Bill was an avid golfer and will be remembered by his golf "buddies", friends, family, fellow Masons, and special friends, Carla and Tim Godin.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Louella and Edwin O. Ware; a daughter, Nikki Kaufman; sisters, Dorothy Ruth Brown and husband H.C. Brown, Jewel Dean and husband Bryant Dean and Mary Dvorak.
He is survived by his son, Jerome Ware; daughters, Vicki Stoker, Lu Ann Beck, granddaughters, Jenna Kaufman and Renate Ware; grandsons, Kenny Parada, Danny Parada and Brandon Stoker; brother Ed Ware and wife Barbara.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

The Final Salute
“Brothers in Arms”, Military men and women down through the centuries, have traditionally exchanged “Hand Salutes” as a sign of recognition and as a way to render courtesy and respect one to another.
This “Hand Salute” is the last that we shall render to William Eaton (Bill) Ware our “Brother-in-Arms”. To his family it symbolizes the love and respect that we have for Bill. And to Bill it is rendered as a symbol of honor and gratitude to thank him for the devoted and selfless service he rendered to his country during the Korean War while serving in the U.S. Air Force. Bill, you are a true patriot, who served with honor and distinction. You upheld the finest qualities of an American patriot warrior: courage, commitment, generosity, sacrifice, love and devotion to family and country. We bid you a sad farewell. You will be dearly missed from among our ranks. Be at Ease. Rest in Peace.
