Christopher Nevels Obituary
Services for Christopher Derek "Red" Nevels will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 23, 2011 in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers, Pineville with Reverend Bob Braly officiating. Burial will be in Clear Creek Cemetery, Pollock.
Visitation will be Wednesday at Hixson Brothers, Pineville from 9:00 a.m. until service time.
Chris was born June 18, 1975 in Pineville, Louisiana and died November 19, 2011 in St. David's Hospital , Austin, Texas.
Chris worked as a journeyman mechanic plumber for several different companies in Austin. After that he was a dispatcher and delivery person for Eat Out In Catering Company.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Janette Maxwell and paternal grandparents, Alvin and Levada Baum.
Chis is survived by his parents, Larry and Connie Nevels Baum of Pollock; sister, Thea Baum Rabalais of Boyce; brother, Tyrel Baum of Pollock; nephews, Hayden, Tyler and Kolin.
Pallbearers will be Tyrel Baum, Kenny Bowen, Rex Garlington, Ricky Nevels, Robert Maxwell, Greg Sanchez, Jerrel Perry, and Randy Wilson
In lieu of flowers donations to assist with funeral cost may be sent to Hixson Brothers, P. O. Box 1272, Alexandria, LA 71309.

Connie & Family I am so sorry for your loss. Words will have no meaning for you right now but know that you are in my and your family are in my prayers. Chris was still a teenager the last time I saw him and he was making homemade pizzas.
