Oakdale - October 12, 1946 - February 1, 2018
Funeral services for Mrs. Gloria Jean Bonnette will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, February 5, 2018 in the Chapel of Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale with Reverend Greg Willis officiating. Interment will follow in Fellowship Methodist Cemetery, Hineston, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale.
Mrs. Bonnette, 71, of Oakdale, entered eternal rest on Thursday, February 1, 2018 in her residence.
Gloria was a loving mother and great friend to all who knew her. She was a lifetime member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary Post 3619, Deridder. She loved crafts and quilting and was an avid bingo player and was the "Bingo Queen of the South". She will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James H. Daniels and Eunice Mae Bloodsworth; husband, Francis G. Maxwell; husband, Jacob D. Bonnette and her son, Timothy Wayne Floyd.
Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory include her life companion, Lowell Floyd, of Oakdale; two daughters, Donna J. Voelker and her husband, Peter, of Pineville and Dorothy E. Bordelon and her husband, Bennie, of Pineville; one brother, James H. "Jr." Daniels, of Shreveport; two sisters, Kathleen Solomon, of Oakdale and Judy Bloodsworth, of Oakdale; five grandchildren, Austin Wilson, Chester Bordelon and his wife, Annalee, Chelsea Bordelon, Christopher Bordelon and Chase Bordelon; one great grandchild, Preston Kirkland Bordelon and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale on Monday, February 5, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. until time of service.
