Judge Culpepper was a dedicated judge who was so compassionate, caring and a truly 'down to earth' fellow...Loved his visits to the Rapides Clerk's Office and our conversations and the wisdom he imparted....Thoughts and prayers are being lifted for his family....

A true gentleman and scholar. I so enjoyed working with him after his retirement when he served pro tempore on the Louisiana Third Circuit Court of Appeal. He truly gave me insight into the art of judicial decision-making. I also cherished our visits when he was in assisted living in Alexandria.
