Claudia Penney Holden

Funeral services for Mrs. Claudia Penney Holden will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 1, 2012 at The Pentecostals of Alexandria with Reverends Terry Shock, Danny Aycock, and Lonnie Weidner officiating. Interment will be held in Restland Memorial Gardens, Pollock under the direction of Rush Funeral Home in Pineville.

Mrs. Holden, age 31, of Pollock, entered eternal rest on September 27, 2012 at Christus St. Francis Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria, Louisiana.

She was a native of Deville. She was a 2001 graduate of Buckeye High School. She was a member of the Pentecostals of Alexandria. She was a homemaker. She had a passion for jewelry-making and scrapbooking. She enjoyed traveling. She loved spending time with her nieces and nephews and all of her friends' children.

She is preceded in death by her father, Darrell Penney; one niece, Tristyn Penney.

She is survived by husband of five years, Joshua Holden of Pollock, Louisiana; her mother, Judy Penney of Deville; one brother, Bobby Clifton (Shawn) of Deville; two sisters, Lisa Clifton of Deville, and Penny Penney of Deville; six nieces and nephews, Aaron, Lauren, Trey, Kane, Ryan, Kallie.

Pallbearers will be Kane Belgard, Eddie Nolen, Nathan Holden, Shelby Holden, Jamie Kercher, Nicholas Lachaussee, Aaron Tammen.

The family would like to offer their sincere appreciation to the late Jason Whittle and his parents, Jerry and Connie Whittle, for their unselfish gift of life through donor-ship which allowed Claudia nine more years of life.

Visitation will be held at Rush Funeral Home in Pineville on Sunday, September 30, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and again on Monday, October 1, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Visitation will continue Monday at The Pentecostals of Alexandria from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.
