Mr. David Earl Williams, age 46 of Montgomery, La, passed away Tuesday, August 14, 2012.
Born, July 17, 1966 in Winnfield, La., he was a member of Union Hill Baptist Church and was a truck driver for many years.
Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Herman D. and Olivia Dubois Ulmer; paternal grandparents Earl C. and Mable Jowers Williams; mother-in-law Mary Alice LaCroix.
Survivors include his wife Sheila LaCroix Williams, daughter Julia Williams, grand-daughter Danielle Bryant and grandson Cameron Bryant. He is also survived by his parents David and Susie Ulmer Williams, father and mother-in law Jerry and Paula LaCroix, brother-in-law Rev. Chuck LaCroix and wife Debbie, sister-in-law Dawn LaCroix, brother-in-law Alan LaCroix and wife Alysha, brother-in-law Jerry LaCroix and wife Dana, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m., Friday, August 17, 2012 at Northside Baptist Church in Montgomery with Reverends Brad Webb and Adam Thornton officiating. Interment will follow in the Verda Cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield.
Friends may visit with the family at the Northside Baptist Church on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until time of services on Friday.
Serving as pallbearers will be Michael Williams, Alan LaCroix, Jerry LaCroix, Charlie Thornton, Rivers Pinder, and Robert Carter. Honorary pallbearers will be Gary Cato, Timmy Williams, and Von Gilcrease.
