Grove was a longtime childhood friend, The Family moved to Dallas from Louisiana, I remember always wanting Grove on my sandlot team, basketball, baseball, tennis, didn't matter he was gifted athlete at everything. We spent time on a twin bike going everywhere we could go. He was the only good influence in my life at the time, and probably vise versa from me. I remember Sister Emily, and Mom a lot. Helped fix Emily's car after fender bender, so no one would see it. Having just looked up Grove after 35 years away, I found this and was taken that he was moved on so to say. As always im late in the news, and sad because. Struck that this was this July, and wished I could have been a little sooner. I didn't meet his new family, and I am sad for you , he was a great friend, stuck up for me when others laughed, a good man , caring man. taught me some honesty about who I was. He was not of great stature, but could out play anyone in sports, I was the biggest person around and he was likely the smallest, but his size was inside and he was really big to me, Rest In Peace My friend, you were superman to me,

Laura,

My condolences to you and your family on your loss. Grove was a great family man and friend who will be missed by all who had the opportunity to interact with him. He always had a great outlook on life, which is the way I will remember him.
