James H. Firment

Services for James H. Firment will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, February15, 2012, at the chapel of Hixson Brothers, Pineville, with Reverend Bart Walker, officiating. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Ball, under the direction of Hixson Brothers, Pineville.

Visitation will be Tuesday, February14, 2012, at Hixson Brothers, Pineville, from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.

Mr. Firment, 70, of Pineville, passed away Sunday, February 12, 2012, at his residence.

He worked as a machinist at Dresser Industries and also off shore. He was a Mr. Fix-It. James was a short wave radio listener "SWL", affectionally called "Termite"

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hubert S. Firment and Mary E. Peaden Michalski; stepfather, Frank Michalski, Sr. and stepbrother, Frank Michalski, Jr.

Those left to cherish his memory include his brothers, Terry Firment of Laurel, MS, Michael Firment of Ball, Johnny Firment of Tioga; sisters, Catherine Wiley of Tioga and Barbara Warren of Alexandria; stepmother, Ledia Firment of Cottonport and numerous nieces and nephews who will all miss Uncle Jimmy greatly.

Pallbearers will be Gabe Firment, Nick Warren, David Chesser, Bill Wiley, Clint Nunnally, and David Dupree. Honorary pallbearers will be Randy Warren and Chris Warren.
