Services for Jerry Lee Adams will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, August 21, 2011, at Kingsville Baptist Church, Pineville with Pastor Bart Walker officiating. Burial will be at Greenwood Memorial Park, Pineville, under the direction of Hixson Brothers, Pineville.

Visitation will be Saturday, August 20, 2011, at Hixson Brothers, Pineville, from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Sunday at the Church from 1:00 p.m. until service time.

Mr. Adams, 74, of Pineville, passed away Tuesday, August 16, 2011, at his residence, surrounded by his loving family.

He was a member of Kingsville Baptist Church and the Pineville Lions Club. Mr. Adams was also a U. S. Air Force veteran.

Mr. Adams worked for Dis-Tran Packaged Substations, LLC for 34 years prior to semi-retirement. His outside activities consisted of traveling, fishing, golfing and working charities thru the Pineville Lions Club where he served as President 3 terms and had the honor to serve as President of the Lions Children's Camp 2009-2010.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Durwood Lee and Dorothy Edna Wilson Adams; wife Barbara Gail Adams.

Mr. Adams is survived by his daughters, Cynthia Dianne Adams Hodgkinson and husband Kevin, and Pamela Jean Adams Randall and husband Jason; four grandchildren, Kathleen Elizabeth Randall, Blake Martin Randall, Nicole Lee Hodgkinson, Natalie Gail Hodgkinson; brother, Walter Ray Adams and wife Mary; his special angel, Jackie Morse; and many special friends.

Pallbearers will be Howard Martin, Nolan Desselle, Steve Besson, Greg Gatlin, John Carroll, James Spears, Ed Frost and Tommy Harless. Honorary pallbearers will be the Pineville Lions Club and Kyle Hodgkinson.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lion's Clubs Children's Camp, P. O. Box 171, Leesville, LA 71446 or the Lion's Club Eye Foundation, 2020 Gravier, New Orleans, LA 70112.
