John William "Billy" Guillot

Funeral services for Mr. John William "Billy" Guillot will be held in the chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Marksville at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, January 21, 2013 with Father Rusty Rabalais officiating. Entombment will be in St. Joseph Mausoleum #2 in Marksville. Arrangements are entrusted to Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Marksville, LA.

Mr. Guillot, age 76, passed away at his residence in Marksville on Thursday, January 17, 2013. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ceran and Eliza Zimmer, five half-brothers and five half-sisters.

He was a World Famous Professsional Wrestler, Ambassador for the Cajun French Language and Culture, attended Marksville High School, was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, employed by the Avoyelles Parish Sheriff's Office, and retired as a Security Guard from Paragon Casino.

He is survived by one brother, Ceran Guillot, Jr., one sister, Roberta Hooks, one nephew, Joseph Hooks, one niece, Mary Hooks Barbry, and one great niece, Alexis Barbry, all of Marksville.

Visitation will be held in the chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Marksville on Sunday, January 20, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and will resume on Monday, January 21, 2013 at 8:00 a.m. until time of service.

A Christian Wake Service will be held at 6:30 p.m. in the chapel on Sunday, January 20, 2013.
