A mass of Christian Burial celebrating the life of Mrs. Jonnie Fett will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pineville, La, Tuesday, June 18, 2012 at 9 a.m. with Father Bruce Miller and Deacon Ray Gibson officiating. Interment will be at St. Peter's Catholic cemetery in Elmer, LA under the direction of Kramer Funeral Home. A Christian wake service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home. Visitation will be held Monday, June 17, 2013 from 4:30-8:30p.m. on Monday, June 17, 2013 and again Tuesday from 8-8:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
Jonnie died peacefully in her home on her 88th birthday. She was born in the Bayou Rapides community to John and Katie Dekeyser Andries.
Jonnie was a loyal employee of CLECO for over 30 years. She was an active member of Sacred Heart Church for over 60 years. She served as Vice Regent of the Catholic Daughters Society. She also enjoyed her membership in the Red Hat Society.
She and Paul enjoyed their camp at Lake Bruin with family and friends from Memorial Day to Labor Day every year for over 40 years. She loved swimming and water skiing well into her 60's.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Paul Fett, two sons; infant Gary Mark and Paul Fett Jr., one grandson, Paul Fett lll, and daughter-in-law Delores Fett. Four brothers; Eugene Andries, Edward Andries, Leo Pete Andries and Huey Andries. Six sisters; Sis Verzwyvelt , Lula Leavins, Maggie Verzwyvelt , Bessie Wilmore, Eloise Vance and Edie Andries.
Those left to cherish her memory are her two daughters, Shirley Lachney(Frank) and Susan Ussery. Two sons, Thomas Fett(Sue) and Patrick Fett (Robin).
She was also the proud grandmother of 8 grandsons: Mark Fett, Darryl Fett, Bryant Bennett, David Fett, Jason Ussery, Eric Fett, Josh Fett and Christopher Fett. Five granddaughters: Julie Nelson, Phyllis VanGossen, Jennifer Bell, Melissa Jordan and Katie Fett. She was also blessed with fourteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren .
Pallbearers honored to serve will be Darryl Fett, David Fett, Christopher Fett, Mark Fett, Jason Ussery, Eric Fett and Josh Fett.
