Funeral services celebrating the life of Madaline C. Albritton will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 1, 2014 in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers, Pineville with Dr. C. Stewart Holloway and Dr. Cliff Stewart officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

The family asks that visitation be observed, Monday, March 31, 2014, at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. , and continue on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.

Mrs. Albritton, 98, of Pineville, passed from this life on Friday, March 28, 2014 at her residence.

She was a member of First Baptist Church, Pineville for 60 years and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend that will be dearly missed by those that knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, H. H. Albritton; son, Jackie Wade Albritton; parents, Julius and Jettie Blankenship Fopay; sisters, Harriet Yancey and Midget Carraway and brothers, J. B. Fopay, Jack Cochran and H. W. Cox.

Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, J. W. Albritton and wife, Ellen and Herman Albritton; daughters, Henrietta A. Jones and husband Preston and Debbie Albritton and 14 grandchildren and great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers honored to serve include her grandsons and great grandsons, Herman Albritton, Jr., Gary Jones, Brian Albritton, Andrew Albritton, Kullen Mancil, Ross Albritton, Keith Mancil and Tyler Cook. Honorary pallbearers will be her granddaughters and great granddaughters, Alicia Jones, Kathy Mancil, Lori Bartoe, Kelli Mancil, Madeline Albritton and Courtnie Cook, Tammy Albritton , Josh Barto and also Wayne Stagg and Jerry Cunningham.

The family would like to extend a big thank you to Stat Home Health, St. Joseph Hospice and Dr. Buckalew and Dr. Brown for their compassion and care for Mrs. Madaline.
