Mary Jane Flynn Finley
Funeral services celebrating the life of Mary Jane Flynn Finley will be held Friday, August 18, 2017 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home, Alexandria, with Father John Wiltse officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Memorial Park, Pineville.
Visitation will be observed at the funeral home from 12 p.m. until service time.
Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Kenneth Hassell, Michael Griffin, Joe Woulard, Harold Woulard, Matthew Woulard and Tyler Neeles.
Mary Jane Flynn Finley, 64, passed from this life surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 in Alexandria due to complications from Multiple Sclerosis.
Mary Jane was born July 31, 1953 in Alexandria to Beverly and Ben Flynn. She graduated from Bolton High School in 1971 and Northeast Louisiana University, Monroe in 1975 with a degree in Medical Technology. Mary Jane enjoyed spending time with her family and she will be missed dearly.
Those left to cherish her memories include her daughters, Beverly Hassell and husband Kenneth and Laura Griffin and husband Michael; son, Jimmy Finley and wife Sabrina; grandchildren, Sydney, Walker, William, Violet, Johnny, Janey and Piper; siblings, Sylvia Evans and husband Brink, James Flynn and wife Charlene, Ben Flynn, and Frances Woulard and husband Joe; and very dear lifelong friend, Marylin Hearn.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Harold Flynn.
