Arthur E. Williams

Funeral services celebrating the life of Mr. Arthur E. Williams will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 1, 2014, at the Sanctuary of Praise, Pineville, with The Reverends David Kimsey and David Roberts officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Ball.

The family asks that visitation be observed Friday, January 31, 2014 at Hixson Brothers Funeral Home, Pineville from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and continue Saturday at the funeral home from 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and at the church Saturday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service.

Mr. Williams, 91, of Pineville, passed from this life Monday, January 27, 2014 at Rapides Regional Medical Center.

Arthur proudly served his county in the United States Army and was a World War II disabled veteran. He was a member of the Sanctuary of Praise, Pineville for 20 years. He was a woodcutter by trade and was an avid outdoorsman that loved hunting and fishing. He will be dearly missed by those that knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Goldie Angelina Racheal Williams; son, Bobby "Red" Glenn Williams; parents, Claude and Della McCullough Williams.

Those left to cherish his memory include his sons, Dennis Williams, Roger Dale Williams and Michael Williams; daughters, Francis Elaine Gradney, Wanda Sue Manning, Evelyn Williams-Enterkin and Tina Louise Ross; sisters, Honor Harris and Yvonne Mc Hiels; 20 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
