Roy J. Harris Sr.
Services for Mr. Roy J. Harris Sr., will be at 1:00 pm on Saturday, 3/1/14 at Faith Baptist church, 3929 Brown St. with the Rev. Anthony Miller officiating and Rev. Leon Harris. Burial will be at Union Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Progressive Funeral Home.
Roy (Hoggie) Harris of Alexandria passed away on Sunday, Feb. 23, 2014 at Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital surrounded by his loving family and friends.
Survivors are his loving wife of 45 years Dorothy Henton Harris; two children Contessa Harris (Jerald) Austin, Roy (Nicquita) Harris Jr.; four gandchildren, Keomi Sanders, Jamil Sanders, Tristan Harris, and Trayson Harris; two great grandchildren Kelin Atkins, Koltin Sanders; one brother the Rev. Leon (Beatrice) Harris; three sisters Albertha Chatman, Ophelia Taylor and Olivia (Tony) Harris.
Friends may call at Faith Baptist Church on Saturday, 3/1/14 from 9 am until time of service at 1 pm.
