Louana "Mimi" Guillot

Funeral services for Mrs. Louana "Mimi" Guillot will be held on Sunday, May 25, 2014 at St. Frances de Sales Catholic Church, 104 Echo Street in Echo with Father Jose Kumplumkal officiating. Interment will be at St. Frances de Sales Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Marksville.

Mrs. Guillot, age 72, of Kenner, passed away at home surrounded by her family on Thursday, May 22, 2014. She was born May 18, 1942 in Echo to the late Roy and Elsie Broussard. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Papa" Guillot and grandparents.

Mimi was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church and was a continuous servant to God, her family and her community. She was selfless and gave herself to being the best person and Mimi possible.

She is survived by two sons, Glenn Guillot (Tammy), Ricky Guillot, one daughter, Pam G. Bonura (Jeffrey), all of Kenner, grandchildren, Amber, Abbee, Amanda, Ashlee, Ashton, Nick, Nicole, great grandchildren, Leyton, Nolan, Devin, and Colton.

She is also survived by three sisters, three brothers, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 25, 2014 beginning at 10: 00 a.m. in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home located at 445 W. Bon Tempt Street Marksville, La. 71351.
