Bernice Feazell Obituary
Funeral services celebrating the life of Bernice Lewis Nash Feazell will be held 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at Gardner Baptist Church, with Brothers Wayne Headrick, Alton Achord, and Marion Collier and her nephew, Rodney Wilburn Lewis officiating. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Gardner, under the direction of Hixson Brothers, Alexandria.
Pallbearers honored to serve will be Thomas Nash, Channery Nash, Corey Sparks, Ethan Sparks, Chad Feazell and Tony Lewis.
The family asks that friends call after 5:00 p.m., Monday, January 16, 2017 until the time of service Tuesday at the church.
Mrs. Bernice was born July 17, 1928 and passed from this life Saturday, January 14, 2017, at Grace Home, Alexandria.
She was a charter member of Gardner Baptist Church and was the owner of Bernice's Beauty Shop in Gardner for over 50 years, where many friends and family enjoyed much conversation, coffee and dessert at her shop and in her home. She loved her family and shared many cooked meals, which included her "Famous Chocolate Pie!"
She loved working with flowers, whether it was making her yards look beautiful or providing the church and cemetery with her special touch of flower arrangements.
She is preceded in death by her husbands, Reverend Marlen Ray Nash and David Earl Feazell; her parents, Thomas and Lizzie Lewis; brothers, Larry and David Lewis; sister, Helen Lewis Robinson and grandson, Jeffery Wilson.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her sons, Charles Nash and wife Dianne, and Ronald "Bo" Nash; daughter, Debra Collins and husband Jim; step-son, Clifton Feazell and wife, Nita; grandchildren, Sonya Cook and husband Mike, Amedrea Collins, Thomas Nash and wife Boogie, and Marla Sparks and husband Corey; step-grandchildren, Kyle, Cole and Emily Feazell; great grandchildren, Seth Cook, Haiden Shelton, Hannah Steimel, Ashlynn Starrett, Channery, Calan and Gus Nash, Christian, Ethan and Morgan Sparks; sisters, Naomi Lewis Sharbono and Lois Lewis Robinson; brothers, Sonny and Rodney Lewis, and a host of other family members and friends.
Rather than flowers, the family wishes contributions be made in honor of Mrs. Bernice to Gardner Baptist Church Building Fund or Calvary Cemetery Fund.

So sorry to hear about Ms. Bernice's death. I thought the world of her as she and mama were good friends. She was a sweet lady. My prayers are with the family.
