Services for Mark Wayne Carmouche will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 22, 2012, at The Pentecostals of Alexandria, with Pastor Anthony Mangun officiating, assisted by Blaze Carmouche and Jerry Rollins. Burial will be at Greenwood Memorial Park, Pineville under the direction of Hixson Brothers, Alexandria.
Visitation will be Wednesday, March 21, 2012, at Hixson Brothers, Alexandria, from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the Church on Thursday.
Mr. Carmouche, 60, of Woodworth, passed away Saturday, March 17, 2012, at Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital, Alexandria.
He was a member of the Pentecostals of Alexandria. Mr. Carmouche was a probation officer for the State of Louisiana. He belonged to the PRA (Popular Rotary Aircraft Association), SlowLow Flyers of Cenla, and the EAA (Experimental Aircraft Association).
He was preceded in death by his father, Russell Joseph Carmouche; sister Lynda Gayle Lambdin.
Those left to cherish his memory include his sons, Marcus Carmouche and wife Jennifer of Tioga, Blaze Carmouche of Woodworth; mother, Gloria Matthews Carmouche of Alexandria; brother, Rusty Carmouche and wife Geneva of Ball; sister, Denise Cope and husband Ricky of Natchitoches; granddaughter Katelyn "Katie" Carmouche and grandson, Nathan Mathews both of Ball.
Pallbearers will be Marcus Carmouche, Blaze Carmouche, Clyde Carmouche, Brian Carmouche, Bobby Scarbrough, and Ryan Rollins. Honorary pallbearers will be Bo Cole, Bobby Sabastian, Bruce Witherell, Dave Thurmond, Mark Lohman, Norman Veuleman, Robert Strange, Russell Long, George Lyles, Kol Garland, Bob Burns, and Kyle Guillory.
