Mr. Clark, 29, of Oakdale entered eternal rest on Friday, April 13, 2012 in Azle, Texas.

Marty Clark was one of the most obedient and loving children that anyone could have. He always tried to help everyone the best way he could. He loved people and found friends everywhere he went. He didn't care what someone looked like; he just wanted a friend to play with. Some were willing and some were not but he never gave up, he reached out and tried to be friends with just about all he met. He didn't beg to go play with someone but looked for fun things to do and how he could help someone, or just entertain his parents. He could jump the 4 ft fence, ride his bicycle in all kinds of ways, teach his dogs new tricks and jump or dive off the top of the house into a 4 ft pool. His family never was lonesome or had time to worry, he was there keeping them encouraged and excited about the simplicity of life.

Marty was a mighty fine: son, brother, dad and friend. All that he did was done with diligence and a whole heart. He spoke of his deepest love for his children when he said he would give his life for his children and family.

Hard work was no stranger to Marty; he did whatever it took to make a living for his family. He met his challenges head on by two of the most dangerous jobs: highline jobs working with electricity and climbing the highest poles and towers. Operating machines of all kinds was learned quickly and efficiently by him. It seemed to come natural to him. He was very much loved by everyone.

Those left to mourn his loss and cherish his memory include one son, Louis Kade Clark of Pine Prairie; two daughters, Kyleigh Alise Clark and Lexie Rena Clark, both of Kentucky; his parents, Dwayne Louis Clark and Syble Nell Clark of Oakdale; three brothers, Conrad Clark of Oakdale, Rex Dwayne Clark and his wife Donna of Oakdale and Joshua Dempsy Clark and his wife, Rochelle of Azle, Texas; two sisters, Deanna Nell Clark and her husband, Robert Messer of Turkey Creek and Roxanne Clark Jones and her husband, Danny of Denham Springs and an abundance of nieces and nephews and lots of friends and relatives.

Pallbearers honored to serve will be Lance Verrette, Cody King, Matt Walters, Matt Clark, Waylon Nelson, Ethan Poole and Dusty Clark.

Friends may call at Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale on Thursday, April 19, 2012 from 11:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. and on Friday, April 20, 2012 from 8:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m.
