Larry Gene Nobles passed away Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at the age of 69, a native of Bogalusa and a resident of Baton Rouge.

He is survived by sons and daughters-in-law; Larry DeWayne and Myrtha Nobles and Keith Michael and Daina Nobles, a daughter and son -in-law; Barbara and Cody Gregoire, grandchildren; Brent Nobles, Haley Nobles, Trevor Gregoire, Jodi and Brad Seals; great-grandchild; Kynadi Crain, sisters; Delores Williams, Christine Seal, Demoreece Hollingsworth, Shirley McKenzie, sister-in-law; Edna Nobles brother; Hillman, Jr. and Lucille Thomas; sister and brother-in-laws, Faye Funderberg, Dorothy Harriman, Marion Harriman and Roy Ogden, Elton Miley and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife; Margaret "Molly" Nobles, grandchild; Chase Gregoire, mother, Bertha Olivia Nobles Thomas, father, Thomas "TC" Nobles and step-father Hillman Thomas, brother, Arthur "AG" Nobles Sr., sisters; Mary Louise Ingram, Joyce Miley and Fanny Gerald.

Pallbearers: Ricky Ingram, Mark Chelette, Jerry Dugas, Alvin Seal Jr., Greg Nobles and Randy Cook.

Visiting will be at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd starting Thursday, December 20, 2012 beginning at 5:00pm until 9:00pm. Visitation will resume Friday, December 21, 2012 starting at 11:00am until services at 2:00pm in the funeral home chapel with interment at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.

Honorary Pallbearers: Jimmy Grantham, Arthur Nobles Jr., Bobby Rembert and Kevin Rembert. Larry served on the board of the Louisiana Auctioneers Assoc.

He was the owner of Larry Nobles Auctioneers and Wrecker Sales. He was a member of Terrace Missionary Baptist Church in Bogalusa. He attended Olive Branch Baptist Fellowship. He also enjoyed spending time with family and friends and collecting classic cars. Please sign our online registry at
