Funeral services for Mrs. Audrey Faye Robbins Lowe will be at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, December 22, 2012 in the chapel of Hixson Brothers, Pineville with Pastor Chris Morris officiating. Burial will be in Butter Cemetery.
The family requests that visitation be observed at Hixson Brothers, Pineville Friday December 21, 2012 from 12:00-10:00 p.m. and continued Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until time of service.
Mrs. Lowe, 70, of Forest Hill, passed away Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at her residence.
Mrs. Lowe was an avid self-taught painter. She painted the Louisiana Nursery Festival poster for the last six years. She was a seamstress by nature having clothed her children and grandchildren for many years. She was also an eclectic flea marketer and a member of New Life International Outreach in Woodworth.
She is preceded in death by her parents, O. V. and Lillie Voorhies Robbins; and sisters, Eloise Moody, Beatrice Stephens, Patsy Pennington; grandson, Dennon Lee Strange, Jr.; one great grandchild, William Eli Graham.
Survivors include her husband, David R. Lowe, Sr.; son, David R. "Pete" Lowe, Jr. and wife, Becky; daughters, Deborah Strange and husband, Dennon, Sr., Lisa Johnson and husband, Roger, and Tracy Kerry; brothers, David Robbins and wife, Lana, and Claude Robbins; sisters, Olivia Nash, Charlotte Carrea, Jerie Ann Armoney, and Shirley Gunter; ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Adolfo Valle, Mark Crawford, Mack Crawford, Bill Crawford, Roy Rogers, and Glynn Dixon.
