Mildred O. Young Obituary
Mildred O. Young

Mildred O. Young, 93, went to meet her Lord and Savior Friday, December 28, 2012, in her residence. Mildred was born January 11, 1919 to Seth and Ola Cole. She grew up in Cole Central, attending school in Pitkin and graduating from Sugartown High School. After marrying Raymond Young, she and Raymond made their home in Sugartown where she lived until her death.

Mildred was a member and faithful servant to her Lord at Sugartown Baptist Church. She taught Sunday School, sang in the choir, worked Vacation Bible School, and any other job that helped glorify the Lord. She and Raymond reared their family in a loving Christian home. Through any and all obstacles put in her path, her faith and love for the Lord never faltered. She loved her family and enjoyed each and every occasion to get together with them to share feast and fun. She taught her children there are no gray areas in Christianity, only right and wrong. She was a very strong presence in each of their lives. She will be greatly missed.
