James Brady Williams, Sr.

Memorial services for Mr. James B. Williams, Sr. will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 13, 2013 at Wayside Baptist Church, Pollock, Louisiana with Rev. Kevin Simmons officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville, Louisiana.

Mr. Williams, age 61, of Pollock, entered eternal rest on Thursday, January 10, 2013 at his residence in Pollock, Louisiana.

He was of a native of Montgomery, La. He was a U.S. Marine Veteran serving in Vietnam. He was a Mason and a Shriner. He had a passion for wood working, God, his family and his love for people.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Mable Williams.

He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Lavina Cobb Williams of Pollock; two sons, James B. Williams, Jr. (Lucretia) of Ft. Polk, Heath Allender Williams (Josie) of Pollock, two daughters, Amber Lee Williams (Blake Stinson) of Willis, Texas, Jennifer Diane Williams of Natchitoches; five brothers, Mervin Williams of Montgomery, Marlin Williams of Montgomery, Charles Williams of Iatt Lake, Irvin Williams of Montgomery and Wayne Williams of Gatesville, Texas; eleven grandchildren.

Friends may call at Wayside Baptist Church, Pollock, Louisiana on Sunday, January 13, 2013 from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m.
