Funeral services for May Doyle Locasico will be held at 11 am, Thursday, March 7, 2013 in the White Oaks Memorial Chapel with the Reverend Greg Willis and Reverend Jerry Odom officiating. Committal services will follow in the Cryer Cemetery under the guidance of White Oaks Funeral Home, Oakdale.
May, 83, of Oakdale, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, March 5, 2013 in the Allen Oaks Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Oakdale. She was born on July 12, 1929 in Elizabeth to the union of Marion Francis and Lillie Mae Doyle. She was a homemaker. She was a loving mother, step-mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, aunt and friend. She will be missed by all that knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Marion and Lillie Doyle; her husbands, Woodrow Willis and Charles Locasico; five brothers, Albert Doyle, Jessie Doyle, Leonard Doyle, Frank Doyle, and Shelby Doyle; and four sisters, Katheryn Rogers, Katie Thompson, Ilene Riser, and Maudie Woodards; one grandson, Charles Edward Willis; and one granddaughter, Donna Nell Bloodsworth.
She leaves behind her loving family to cherish her memory, two sons, Larry Willis and wife Lourice of Oakdale, and Jerald Willis and wife Genny of Eunice; three daughters, Linda Doyal and husband William Dowden of Anacoco, Betty Willis and husband Charles of Oakdale, and Judy Tackett and husband Roger of Pitkin; four stepchildren, Charles Locasico of Alexandria, Allen Locasico of Ohio, Vonnie Locasico of Ohio, and Rose Locasico of Oregon; twelve grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; thirty-seven, great grandchildren; twelve great-great grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
Pallbearers to serve will be Rocky Bloodsworth, Jimmy Dale Bloodsworth, Jerald Willis, Jr., Ernest Lee Doyal, Ricky Willis, and Little Ricky Willis.
Friends may call today from 6 pm until 11 pm then Thursday from 8 am until time of service in the chapel
