He "grew up" in Vinton and moved to the Lake Charles area in 1964, where he and Mrs. Mary raised their family. He graduated from the LSU School of Banking and worked for Calcasieu Marine National Bank for over forty years, where he retired in 1988 as President. Mr. McGough was a past president of the Vinton Lions Club, the Pioneer Club, the West Calcasieu Chamber of Commerce and was a Mason.
