Larry Dee Brady

Larry Dee Brady passed away at 5:30pm on Tuesday, February 4, 2014 surrounded by close friends and family.

Larry was born on April 15, 1943 in Alexandria, Louisiana.

He is preceded in death by his parents Clinton Dee Brady of Marksville, Louisiana and Gussie Simmons of Oberlin, Louisiana.

Larry is survived by his wife of 49 years, Gloria Berlin Brady; sons, Stephen Dee Brady of Ft. Worth, Texas and David Scott Brady; grandson, Ty Brady, 14 years old of Lumberton, Texas; sisters, Marion Crooks and Judy Robertson; and younger brother, Gary Brady of Austin, Texas.

Larry is a 1961 graduate of Tioga High School and an honors graduate of Northwestern State College, Natchitoches, Louisiana. He lived in south Texas for the last 51 years, loved his plants fishing and crabbing. Everyone loved his boiled crabs. Larry was forever "tinkering". He was always working on something electronic, wiring, soldering and tearing things apart and putting them back together.

He will be missed by his wife, children, friends and family. Larry was "Mr. Fix It." So if anyone had anything that needed fixing--Larry was the man for the job!

The funeral service will be held at 7:00pm Thursday, February 6, 2014 at Niday Fairmont Funeral Home, with visitation being held two hours prior to the service, starting at 5:00pm.

Also, a luncheon will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at 12:30pm at Kingsville Baptist Church in Ball, Louisiana and followed by a memorial service at 2:00pm.
