Services for Mrs. Annie Ree Martin will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 28, 2014 in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers, Pineville with her grandson, Edward Franklin Ramer officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Pollock.
The family requests that visitation be observed Thursday at Hixson Brothers, Pineville from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and will continue on Friday from 8:00 a.m. until time of service.
Mrs. Annie Martin, 76, of Pineville passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital.
During her working career she was a patient caregiver at Pinecrest State School. Mrs. Martin was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, who will be missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Truman F. Martin; parents, Elisha and Jessie Lucille Saxon White; brothers, Tommy White and C. B. White.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Joy Lynette Brown Ramer, Katherine Brown Rivers; son, Charles Franklin Brown; brothers, Alfred White, David White, Newman Meadows and Louis Meadows; sisters, Ferriel David, Myrtice Flowers, Yvonne Landry, Wanza Durbin, Carolyn Bond, Barbara Reeves, MaryAnn Gerage, Heather Gowart and Brenda Meadows; grandchildren, Billy Gene Dryden, III, Jessica Anne Dryden Aldridge, Debra Lee Brown Johnson, Jason Bradley Rivers, Edward Franklin Ramer, Amanda Michelle Rivers and Darick Wayne Rivers; great grandchildren, Zoey Aldridge, Hope Rivers, Bradley Rivers, Genevieve Ramer, Abigail Johnson, Kensie Mapp, Brennan Johnson, Annebelle Ramer, Eliza Ramer and Genesis Dryden.
Pallbearers will be David White, Henry Ramer, Edward Ramer, Wayne Johnson, Darick Rivers and Brennan Johnson.
