Ruby Lofton Obituary
Funeral services for Ruby Lee Lofton, age 94, of Sportmans Paradise, will be held at 11:30 AM Wednesday, March 4, 2015 from the chapel of Riser Funeral Home in Olla with Rev. E. Ray Johnson officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery in Olla.
Ruby was born October 14, 1920 to Christopher and Rosie Cupp Neal in Dry Prong and she passed from this life on March 2, 2015 at Matthews Memorial Health Center in Alexandria.
She was a beautician who owned her own salon for over 30 years. She loved the outdoors and especially loved fishing and gardening. She was preceded in death by her husband: W.E. Lofton; daughter: Ernestine Lofton; siblings: Carmen Gorman, Felder Neal, Ancel Neal, and Huey Neal.
She is survived by one sister: Onie Neal Schneider of Pineville; numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Michael James, Andrew James, John Crooks, and Austin Crooks.
