Troy Cigers Guillot

Services for Troy Cigers Guillot will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, January 3, 2016, in the chapel of John Kramer & Son Funeral Home with Dr. Jimmy Brossette officiating. Interment will follow in Alexandria Memorial Gardens under the direction of John Kramer & Son.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Saturday, January 2, 2016 and resume from 10:00 A.M. until time of service on Sunday, January 3, 2016 at the funeral home.

Troy C. Guillot, 81, of Alexandria, passed away on Thursday, December 31, 2015 in his residence.

Troy is preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Betty Tassin Guillot.

Troy was an avid deer hunter for many years. He enjoyed hunting and camping with his family and friends. Troy was always the first person at his grandchildren's sporting events and many people were honored to call him their friend. Among his many passions, Troy enjoyed working in his yard. He will be missed by many.

Those left to cherish his memory include his 3 children, Cindy Vercher and husband, Jerry, of Alexandria, LA, Janet Eskew of Alexandria, LA, and Phil Guillot and wife, Lori, of Prospect, LA; 7 grandchildren, Rusty Vercher, Dusty Vercher, Jay Vercher, Heather Paul, Jessica Guillot, Lorin Wagoner and Courtney Guillot; 9 great-grandchildren; 1 brother and 2 sisters.

The Guillot Family wishes to thank the staff of Stillwater Hospice, Dorothy Bonnette and Jerry Vercher for their care of Troy.

Pallbearers honored to serve include Rusty Vercher, Dusty Vercher, Jay Vercher, Jerry Jercher, Evan Blake, Brett Paul, and Chad Wagoner. Honorary Pallbearers include Kaleb Benamati and Jackson Vercher.
