Jocelyn Ruiz Obituary
January 13, 2010 - February 4, 2016
Funeral services for Jocelyn Victoria "Binks" Ruiz will be held on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville. Interment will follow in Philadelphia Cemetery in the Philadelphia Community under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville.
Jocelyn Victoria "Binks" Ruiz, age 6 of Pineville, entered eternal rest on Thursday, February 4, 2016 at her residence.
Jocelyn, or "Binks" as she was better known, was a star Kindergarten student at Buckeye Elementary, where she had a perfect attendance record. Her favorite color was all shades of green. She left little sparkles everywhere she went. She was also a great dancer and singer.
She is preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, James Cobaugh.
Those left to cherish her memory include her parents, Mario and Patricia Ruiz of Pineville; sisters, Jasmine York and Jada Bahm, both of Pineville; brother, Ian Ruiz of Lake Charles; paternal grandparents, Chester and Yolanda Airheart; and maternal grandmother, Barbara Cobaugh of Pineville. She is also survived by her loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation for family and friends will be held at Rush Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m..
