Cindy Richter-Yomes, age 55, of Crawfordville, FL, former longtime resident of Albany, GA, passed away on October 15, 2017.

Cindy was a devoted and loving mother. She was very proud of her family and was excited to become a "Gammi" to her 4 grandchildren.

"Mom, you have given so much and asked for so little in return. Thank you for always being there for us, for teaching us, listening to us, helping and forgiving us, loving us, and always, always paving the way for us."

Cindy was born in Moultrie, GA on November 11, 1961 to Johnny and Willene Richter. She was a member of First Baptist, Putney. She graduated from Dougherty County Comprehensive High School and continued on to receive a nursing degree from Darton College. Nursing was her passion and it is where she felt most comfortable. Cindy was married to Greg Yomes on May 15, 2002; they were married for fifteen years.

Cindy is survived by her mother, Willene Richter; husband, Greg Yomes; Leland, her grandchild whom they adopted, her children: Shaun Adcock of Albany, Ga, Brittany Harrell of Crawfordville, FL, and Matt Fields of Tallahassee, FL. Her grandchildren, Chevy, Waylon, LilyGrace, and Vincent. Her brother Greg Richter, and his wife Pam, her sister Kristi Carter and her husband Richard and many nieces and nephews. Cindy is preceded in death by her father, Johnny Richter and her sister Vicki Wiggins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Autismspeaks.org. Cindy was passionate about autism research and finding new ways to help children with autism. A private ceremony will be held for the family on Wednesday October 18, 2017.
