Manuel "Steve" Steven Norris, 68, of Carrabelle, died January 19, 2018. He was born September 12, 1949, in Apalachicola, Florida, to Manuel & Wilma Norris. A native of Franklin County. He owned and operated the Beachside Gulf Station at Carrabelle Beach for many years and retired after 25 years from the Franklin County Bus Garage as a mechanic. Steve had many hobbies that included flying airplanes, riding "Harleys" and building antique cars. His family have many stories about flying in his planes and his love of building cars. He attended the Carrabelle First Assembly of God Church.
He is survived by his wife Kansas Norris, daughter Emerald Larkin (Austin), 4 sons Carmon Brownell (Pam), Leonard Brownell (Crystal), Chris Norris (Denise) & Kevin Norris, sister Wanda Jean Sherman (Walter), 9 grandchildren & 2 great grandchildren. Memorial Service will be Saturday, February 3, 2018, 11:00 am at Carrabelle First Assembly of God Church with Pastor Ron Barks officiating. Burial will be at the Evergreen Cemetery at a later date.
