Rose Ann Samuelson, 80, of Sopchoppy, died September 28, 2017.
She was born in Covington, Kentucky but grew up in Miami, Florida, moving to Brevard County where she lived most of her life. After the passing of her husband, she moved to Sopchoppy to be closer to her family.
Ms. Samuelson graduated from Ringling School of Art and was an accomplished Artist, winning prestigious shows such as the Gasparilla Festival of the Arts in Tampa, the Festival of the Masters in Buena Vista and many more. She taught art at the Daytona Beach Art League and privately for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Florence Creamer; her sister, Dolly; and her beloved husband, Fred Samuelson.
Survivors include her sons, Mike Crouch (Bobbie Jo), and Tim Crouch (Donna); 4 grandchildren, Ryan Crouch (Emily), Logan Crouch (Deni), Kaitlin Hess (Tim) and Chandler Thornton (Jonathan); and 3 great grandchildren Maggie Kate, Nolan and June.
A private Family Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
The family would like to express their appreciation to St. James Healthcare Center for the wonderful care given to their mother.

I was so sorry to hear of Roseanne's passing.
She was a fantastic teacher & mentor to me & many others. It was a privilege to have known her. She was always fun & funny.
Now she is at peace with her Fred. May you find comfort in the good memories.
