Stanley Ronald Matuszczak, 76, passed away on Friday, Sept. 27, 2013.
He was born in Detroit, and had lived in this area for 25 years coming from Atlanta. He was a Catholic. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He retired from General Motors. He was an avid fisherman, he enjoyed gardening and loved his crossword puzzles.
Memorial services will be Friday, Oct. 4, 2013 at 6 p.m. at Bevis Funeral Home, Harvey-Young Chapel in Crawfordville.
He is survived by his wife, Sarah M. Graham; three sons, Stanley Michael Matuszczak and Kimball Bonard, both of North Carolina and Tommy Buffkin of of South Carolina; four daughters, Kimberly Blackwell of Michigan, Toni Hyde of Georgia, Dianne Sprayberry of Panacea, and Margaret Adair of Georgia; and one grandson, Jacob Michael Matuszczak.
